Hi friends! For those of you who may not know me, I’m Dr. Kim LaPlante, a top Monroe, GA agent with a passion for helping people navigate the exciting—and sometimes overwhelming—process of buying or selling their home. My journey into real estate began as a way to help my husband and I invest in properties. It’s grown into a career where I get to meet amazing people and help them take the next step in their lives.
Before becoming a realtor, I spent 30 years teaching middle school, where I honed my skills in listening, organizing, and managing different personalities (all of which have proven incredibly helpful in real estate!). Building relationships is at the heart of what I do—whether it’s with clients, my community, or the schools and teachers I love to support.
Here’s a little more about me
My husband and I have been married for 35 years, and we’ve got two great kids, a daughter who’s an audiologist and a son who works in shipping.
I love walking in nature (I try to do a 5-6 mile walk every week!), reading by the fireplace, and spending time with friends and family.
A perfect day for me would include tacos, coffee, and a good hike with loved ones.
My faith is the foundation of my life, and one of my favorite Bible verses is, “Be still and know that I am God.”
